The speakers took time to answer our questions and gave advice to the best of their abilities. As they experienced similar phases (choosing uni and experiences with diff subj combi in jc), I felt that their sharing was very relatable and I’ve managed to learn a thing or two just by sitting in to listen to the discussions! The taster courses also gave us a glimpse of what the lesson structure and format may be like which allowed me to have another point of consideration when choosing the courses to study. The career choices available seems to be more than what i initially thought for certain courses and that definitely helped me in the re-ordering of my course choices. Thank you, TaCo team (and seniors)! 🙂

The speakers were so enthusiastic about their courses and shared advice to their juniors which was heartening to see.. it helped me in sourcing the resources to aid my decision as well as going through what a normal day of a student of a specific course would do. its definitely exciting to see students from that course willing to stay back to answer some questions too, thank you!

I am now more informed about the course that I would like to pursue in university (life science) and what it entails. Before this, I was clueless as to what this course was about and I chose this course because I knew I wanted to do something related to science, specifically biology, in the future. Now I have a clearer sense of direction as to what course I’ll hopefully be applying to next year!
