Why We Started

Our Beginnings

Founded in 2020, TaCo was created with the purpose of helping pre-university students bridge the knowledge gap to make an educated decision about their university course. The wrong decision could lead to wasted time, resources and unnecessary stress. 

Our Method

Today, TaCo not only curates Taster Courses which are immersive university mock lessons for students to discover their interests. TaCo also aims to be the ultimate guide for students to understand the various paths in University and how it links to potential careers beyond.

Our Vision

TaCo believes that each student can be empowered to choose a University course which they are confident in, and truly passionate about. After all, self-discovery, like education, never ends.

About The Problem

We NEED to invest in greater resources for students. In our nationwide survey conducted in May 2020, out of 684 students

41.4%

Felt that current information available to them is insufficient for them to confidently decide on their University Course.

Reasons for feeling this way

57.1%

Of the students felt that reading/hearing courses did not give an accurate representation of University Courses.

64.8%

Of the students felt that personal sharing regarding University experience could be enhanced.
